Moss Street Paint-in

My Work/Exhibit Area - near the May and Moss Street intersection.

At work

A smaller crowd this year.

Super Helpers: Rick,
Angela and Juliana, (on Rick's head!).

I'm painting again

Fallen (in progress)

Pebbles in a Jar

I met a man who lost his mind

in some lost place I had to find,

follow me the wise man said,

but he walked behind

A pebble
I pick it up
Roll it around my fingers
Feel its weight
its story
she joins the others
one day
I'll set them free
maybe
I'll keep one

One of these
is not like the others

And I can't forget, I can't forget
I can't forget but I don't remember what

On Canvas Spring Show

I am showing my art in a group show at the On Canvas Art Gallery!

If you are around the Victoria area, come check it out!

Here she is.

I find her more seductive wrapped in the vegetation - she is in her own world. It's colourful, it's "full" and its hers alone.

Emerging

She has been having troubles emerging - or perhaps I haven't cajoled her into being quite yet - I have repositioned her arms - to replicate the original sketch more closely - I wanted her more "buried" in this "garden so I'm wrapping vegetation around her arms --- I have to leave her for now...
